摘要
Social, communicative, and digital abilities have become the core skills for any professionals not matter their area of expertise. Begin able to effectively communicate to solve problems considering critical analysis and collaborative work are currently so much important for companies rather than a vast knowledge in an area. Self-learning and autonomy allow people a continue development through their whole life. All this has brought enormous implications on the curriculum and also on teaching practices, creating the necessity to support students to be competitive for this rapid changing world. In this sense, this research study aims to introduce Project-Based Learning as an educational teaching methodology which integrates diverse learning theories that foster the development of 21stcentury skills based on collaboration, inquiry, and technology used. Our proposal is based on the IDOCR (Inquiry, Discovery, Produce, Communication and Review) model, and the research methodology incorporates the review and analysis of different empirical and non-empirical studies conducted throughout the years.
