摘要：

Advancements in technology have added to more complex demands of software development. The adoption of Agile practices to develop the software gives an adaptable environment to cater to the changes according to the client's requirements. In this paper we investigate the extent of adoption of agile practices with regard to the Indian IT Industry. We hosted a web based survey focusing on five major areas pertaining to adoption, self-organization, effect of agile, application domain of agile practices and the stakeholder interaction. We have found that adoption of agile practices affects the cost and increases the productivity.
