摘要
Nowadays college students are facing a number of different evaluation methodologies. These methodologies can change significantly according to the University policies and practices and are shaped by education regulations established on the national level. However, students' preferences regarding the assessment of their knowledge and progress are often neglected. The purpose of this paper is to understand collage students' opinions and preferences regarding different evaluation processes, such as written and oral exams, midterm and final exams, homework and continuous evaluation system. Data were collected through two empirical studies among college students of Faculty of Economics from two European universities. The data collection started at the end of 2016 and lasted six months approximately. Data were analysed with the SPSS software and were approached from the cross-cultural point of view.
