Three-component systems LiF-LiVO3-Li2MoO4 and LiVO3-Li2SO4-Li2MoO4

Phase equilibria in the three-component systems LiF-LiVO3-Li2MoO4 and LiVO3-Li2SO4- Li2MoO4 were studied using differential thermal analysis (DTA). The following eutectic compositions (mol %) were found: in the LiF-LiVO3-Li2MoO4 system, the eutectic contained 18.0% LiF + 53.0% LiVO3 + 29.0% Li2MoO4 with a melting point of 493 degrees C and a specific enthalpy of melting equal to 297 kJ/kg; and in the LiVO3-Li2SO4-Li2MoO4 system, the eutectic contained 63.0% LiVO3 + 15.0% Li2SO4 + 22.0% Li2MoO4 with a melting point of 491 degrees C and a specific enthalpy of melting equal to 268 kJ/kg. The phase fields were demarcated.
