摘要：
Software industry is a promising industry because of its power and high pervasion, and its development mainly depends on successful software projects. But the effective management of software project is a difficult and crucial task. This paper describes application of project management theory to software project. First, the paper briefly introduces the theory of project management and the up-to-date progress in software engineering. Then a framework of software project management is proposed. Finally, the thesis presents a capacity maturity model in software project management and an improvement approach.
