摘要
This study investigates investor relations related items on websites of listed companies in Shanghai Stock Exchange, Shenzhen Stock Exchange and Hong Kong Exchange. To compare the IR efforts situation of companies in these three markets, a website based investor relations index WBIRX is put forward. Then, by comparison, the study shows that, despite some fast progress, both In formats and contents, SSE 50 index companies and Shenzhen Components index companies are generally underdeveloped comparing with Hang Seng index companies. Both IR related items number, classification and quality should be improved for companies listed in Mainland China.
