Study on Air Blowing Process for Bromine Production from Brine Water

摘要
Bromide as a kind of important chemical raw materials, has important value in the national economy and the development of science and technology. Method of air blowing process for bromine production from brine water is the most mature and common method in our country at present, the blowing rate of free bromine will determine the production cost and benefit. In this paper, we focus on studying the remove rate of free bromine to determine the best process conditions of air blowing out method. That is, the pH value is about 3.5, brine super gravity factor is around 40 (rotating packed bed speed 800 r/min), and gas liquid ratio is 120 m(3)/m(3). Results show that it's more suitable to adopt multistage bromide when total bromide brine concentration is high.
