摘要
Several regression models were proposed for modelling of ultrasonic sound velocity in a series of n-alkanes using the recently introduced PI index. The results are compared with those obtained from the Wiener index (W) and first order connectivity index ((1)chi). The data have shown that excellent results are obtained when reciprocals of W, (1)chi, and PI are used as the correlating parameters.
