摘要
Health care costs have become an increasing concern for most companies over the past few years. Companies are re-evaluating their current wellness programs for cost reduction potential, and they are often implementing new health care programs. This paper discusses some company-sponsored health care programs that have achieved measurable cost savings. Specifically, the study reviews employer health programs at three companies: American General Finance (AGF), headquartered in Evansville, Indiana; Steelcase, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan; and Valley Sports Company (name changed for confidential reasons), a sporting goods manufacturer located in the Midwestern region of the United States.
