摘要
Tolerancing is an important engineering aspect in the product development cycle. In this paper, an integrated tolerancing system designed for Virtual Product Development (VPD) is introduced. Based on analysis of the essential elements of tolerancing,the framework of the tolerancing system tightly integrated with VPD platform is described, which shares a common digital product model database with other VPD modules such as CAD, CAPP and CAM systems. The system described above includes three modules, tolerance modeling, tolerance analysis and tolerance synthesis. The application of the above system is subsequently presented
