Ecological supply chains performance evaluation and disruption risk management strategies

In this paper, the concept of ecological supply chain (ESC) and primary design principles of ESC are discussed. The reasons that make an ESC vulnerable to disruption risks are analyzed; some strategies to mitigating disruption risks is discussed. The robust strategies developed or implemented for mitigating disruption risks is based on the impact of ESC disruption risks, then using by the extension technique, the return threshold is evaluated first, then based on the exergoeconomics theory, an ESC is regarded as a huge energy system with the new view, and the sustainability of the ESC system is discussed under the circumstance of exgoeconornics, a case study illustrates our conclusions.
