摘要
The effect of ZnO addition on the electrical resistance of 2.6 mol%-Y 2O3 stabilized zirconia ceramic was investigated. The XRD patterns of the tetragonal zirconia polycrystals (TZP)-40 wt.%ZnO samples were shown. The densities of Y-TZP-x wt.% ZnO sintered at 1250-1350°C were also shown. The SEM image of the mirror-polished surface of TZP-25 wt.% ZnO sintered at 1350°C was presented. It was found that ZnO did not evaporate from TZP-x wt.% ZnO when sintering in the ZnO powder was carried out. The conduction of TZP-x°C wt.%ZnO increased with an increase in the amount of ZnO, although their mechanical properties significantly decreased.
