Closterocerus flavicinctus De Santis from the subfamily Entedoninae was recorded from Mexico, for the first time, in the state of Nayarit. C. flavicinctus was found in a plantation with green hot pepper (Capsicum frutescens). Ten specimens (9 female and 1 male) were found.
