摘要
Glaucoma is a censorious and blindness causing eye disease. Rising of intraocular pressure within the eye is the main aetiology. Glaucoma detection is one of the crucial tasks for ophthalmologists. In recent years, the development of digital imaging and computer vision influenced medical diagnostic systems. Application of image processing techniques in ophthalmology plays a significant role in the diagnosis of retinal diseases like retinopathy of prematurity, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and age-based macular degeneration. This survey covers a comprehensive discussion on different image processing techniques and processing algorithms used for detection of glaucoma. This paper presents two types of imaging modalities for Computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) they are, i) Fundus imaging-based approach and ii) Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) imaging-based approach
