A Study of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Model of Students in Higher Vocational Colleges

Innovation and entrepreneurship education of students in higher vocational colleges is the requirement of national long-term education reform and development plans, and it can also meet the demands of cultivation of talents in higher vocational colleges. Innovation and entrepreneurship education is a hot topic in the world wide, it can not only promote the development of economy, but also it can create opportunities for students in higher vocational colleges to promote their employment and help them realize their life values at the same time. Along with the emergence and development of innovation and entrepreneurship education, all higher vocational colleges begin to explore suitable innovation and entrepreneurship education model to carry out innovation and entrepreneurship activities according to specific situations of higher vocational colleges such as school foundations, actual conditions, talents cultivation plans and so on. At present, innovation and entrepreneurship education in higher vocational colleges is still in primary stage, so there are still some unneglectable problems in education concepts, teaching models, teaching methods and so on. This paper makes an analysis of present situation of innovation and entrepreneurship education in higher vocational colleges and the necessity of carrying out innovation and entrepreneurship education so as to cultivate talents of high qualities of entrepreneurship spirit and innovation abilities in higher vocational colleges. Innovation and entrepreneurship education for students in higher vocational colleges is favorable to cultivate students' entrepreneurship consciousness, and it is also of important practical significance to promote students' employment in higher vocational colleges as well.
