摘要
The research paper presents an implementation of Microgrid. A new concept which assumes lots of loads & sources operated under a one controllable unit system which provides heat & power to the localized area. Various existing models of sources are used to describe the inicrogrid's components. A complete model is built which includes microgrid, power sources like Wind energy, Solar Energy, Diesel generator models inbuilt in MATLAB/Simulink. A new combination of these models is tried to analyse the impact of integrating the renewable energy sources with microgrid. Various quantities like active power, reactive power, apparent power, current & voltage are analysed for Wind farm, Diesel generator, Solar PV farm and that of loads are shown and presented in the research paper. The various factors on which production of energy depends are PV farm's size & it's efficiency and speed of wind for Wind farm.
