摘要
The present technology allows to employ synthetic polycrystalline diamond films as dosimeters for radiotherapic applications. Diamond films can now be grown with different kinds and amounts of impurities and potential low cost. Moreover, due to the high sensitivity and stability of the material, diamonds can be tailored in small sizes, making them suitable for the characterisation of small radiation fields. In this work the dosimetric properties of two generation of thermoluminescent CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposited) diamond films have been studied with radiation beams of different L.E.T. (Co-60 photons, photons and electrons from Linac, 26 MeV protons from Tandem accelerator) in the dose range 0.1Gy-7 Gy.
