摘要
Advances in hard are miniaturi ation enable the mass-production of lo -cost sensor devices equipped with microprocessors, memory and wireless communication. A ey challenge in sensor net or s is to limit net or energy consumption, as it is impractical to replace batteries on thousands of deployed devices in a remote or dangerous environment. Moreover, the net or must adapt to potentially harsh environmental conditions, such as temperature and radiation, in a ay that addresses energy concerns. he challenge is to optimi e system behavior and energy consumption underperformance constraints.
