摘要
Introducing demand response resources into competition is gradually becoming a trend in the electricity market. In order to study the impacts of demand response resources on electricity market, a trading framework of shiftable loads competing in electricity market through load aggregators is presented firstly. Then, a multi- period equilibrium model is formulated using the oligopolistic competition theory, in which load aggregators take part in the wholesale market competition along with generators. Load aggregators acting as price-takers and price-makers are both considered in this paper. Finally, the nonlinear complementarity approach is used to solve the equilibrium model. Numerical analysis shows that shiftable loads competing in electricity market can flatten electricity price curves, mitigate market power of generators and enhance the overall efficiency of the market. When load aggregators compete as price-takers, a better market efficiency is achieved.
