摘要
Monitoring potable water quality parameters in real time is significant over last few decades to protect the health of human being. Water quality depends on pH, turbidity, temperature along with other factor is significant A traditional method consists of collecting water sample manually and then send to a laboratory for testing. It takes so much time without providing result in real-time. The objective of this work was to develop a real-time embedded system for assessment of potable water quality. It reduces human efforts, covers a large area efficiently. This system consists of a wireless, serial protocol, different types of sensor and notification module consist of LCD display, GSM modem for SMS alert. Wireless module was formed using the pair of zig-bee transmitter-receiver which helps in transmitting and receiving the data to the computer system which store and show the plot of different sensor data on the GUI in MatLab.
