摘要
The aim of this study was to model the effect of destination attributes on intercity travelers' mode choice behaviors. This study selected randomly from the travelers of Tainan-to-Taipei trip and Tainan-to-Taichung trip in Taiwan area and applied hierarchical information integrated (HII) stated preference experiments to capture travelers' preferences of simulation profiles. The results showed that one of the destination attributes, transfer quality at destination station, was the most important factor that affect travelers' mode choice decision significantly. However, travel time and travel cost were not the more important factors, especially in the model of Tainan-to-Taichung, which is mid-term trip, those attributes were almost last ranked attributes. At the end of this article, there are some conclusions and suggestions presented.
