摘要
The aim of this study's as to show variations in serum levels of A1AT after surgical treatment for malignant tumor of the respiratory tract and their prognostic role for development of the postoperative complications. Prospective study covered 40 patients with the tumor of respiratory tract where resection of tumor was performed. The surgical treatments were performed by the same surgical team with the appropriate protocol of anestesiology. Groups were assembled according preoperative and postoperative measurments of MAT serum levels, on the second and the seventh day. Apart from the values of serum levels of albumin, C-reactive proteine, postoperative complications and serum values of MAT in the groups of patients with and without complications and in groups with superior or inferior part of respiratory tract malignant tumor were analysed. After 9 lobectomy, 8 pneumonectomy, 14 laryngectomy, 5 chordectomy and 4 wedge resection eight patients (20%) expirienced non fatal postoperative e complications. Statistical anlaysis confirmed that that postoperative serum levels of A1AT significantly increased than preopertive values. There were significancy in plasma in plasma levels of CRP between groups with and without postoperative complications. This study is stong stimulus for serum levels MAT clinical trials in estimating of respiratory tract cancer progression, postoperative complications, prognosis of disease and metastasis.
