Effects of a roughness change on wind properties around two-dimensional hills

摘要
It is well known that the flow properties over hill are influenced by the shape and roughness of hill. These effects on gentle slope hill have been investigated by many researchers. However, it was not for the shape and roughness effects on wind properties over the steep slope. In this study, the effects of shapes and roughness of two-dimensional hills with steep slope on now properties, such as now pattern, speed up effects, turbulence intensity and power spectrum were examined by wind tunnel test. As the results, the effect of slope gradient and roughness were exists under the steep slope. The effects of roughness change on now properties were different between the case from smooth to rough and vice versa.
