摘要
The paper presents the role of computer games in training computer skills of children with special educational needs (SEN). It is focused on training computer skills for children with cerebral palsy. Paper describes different stages and software tools used in the process of education. The analysis of results from the first stage of education show positive effects of computer training on child development, and need of special software applications, consider the specifics of the disease and the individual needs of children. The main part of the paper presents the process of development of specialized software environment for computer training of children with cerebral palsy. This process includes specification of requirements and criteria for the development of software, description of knowledge areas and skills that software will trained, general structure of the software and links between different parts. Finally the paper presents results of computer training of children with cerebral palsy observed after the use of new special software environment.
