Home security system in a web-based networking environment

In a Ubiquitous environment, people want control over their homes every moment and from any location. [1] If the environment that directly controls and surveys a home uses the web, this becomes possible. Instead of using expensive imaging equipment, cheap and reliable monitoring and control can be accomplished by the use of a USB camera. We used a LabVIEW program to verify this paper, and the presented method can be easily applied to other applications.[2].
