摘要：
In the present study, an incompressible Navier-Stokes solver is used to compute the three dimensional flow in an in-line static mixer, To obtain sufficient resolution of the complex flow behaviour, the numerical simulation has been undertaken on a highperformance parallel computer system. The tracking of a large number of particle paths in the mixer has shown to provide detailed insights into the basic low phenomena, and thus clarify the mixing procedure.
