摘要
District Balrampur lies in between 26 degrees 48' N to 27 degrees 55 '' and is situated in Shivalik hills at the foothill region of eastern Uttar Pradesh. Aquatic flora of different water bodies e.g. rivers, ravines, drains, ponds, ditches, pits, puddles, marshes, etc. was studied and 53 species belonging to 48 different genera of four different groups viz, algae(3), bryophytes(2), pteridophytes(5) and angiosperms(37) were recorded. The economic importance of some species has also been described.
