摘要：

As a cross-language and cross-cultural important communication activity, tourism text translation can not only transmit information, but also contribute to the impact and induction, while functional translation theory has a strong operation, which can provide the translation of the tourism text for a new way of thinking. This paper has outlined the functional translation theory, analyzed the basic meaning of tourism text translation, discussed the cultural differences between China and the west in tourism text translation, and made an approach of tourism text translation based on functional translation.
