Compact dual-band bandpass filter using a stepped impedance resonator for WLAN/WiMAX application

摘要
A compact dual-band band-pass filter based on a dual-mode stepped impedance resonator is presented. Details operating principle of the band-pass filter are discussed. A prototype of dual-band baud-pass filter has been designed, fabricated, and measured for validation. The results show that the first pass-hand is at center frequency of 2.46Hz with-3dB fractional bandwidth 6.0%. And the second pass-band is at center frequency of 3.56Hz with-3dB fractional bandwidth 2.9%. The dimensions of the filter are I.8x9mm2. Measured results are in a very good agreement with the simulated results.
