摘要
A compact dual-mode dual-band bandpass filter (BPF) is proposed in this article. A T-shaped slot is etched on the center of the low-impedance part of a stepped-impedance resonator, which mainly impact on the pairs of high-order modes of the resonator. By tuning the length and width of the slot, both pairs of dual-modes the resonator can be controlled, implying that the bandwidth of the filter can be controlled. The feed line is folded to fulfill the external coupling of the dual-passband. A dual-band BPF for 2.4 and 3.5 GHz application is designed, fabricated, and measured.
