摘要
Computational Grid computing is an emerging discipline in computer science. When we speak of computational grids, the idea is that computers will act as generators of computational power and that applications will behave as computational appliances. Further the software infrastructure will be the utility responsible for managing the interaction between them. This paper describes computational grids and surveys the ongoing research projects that seek to develop frameworks and software infrastructures for computational grids.
