摘要
Experimental investigation on a soft X-ray laser based on tunneling ionization and subsequent electron excitation of noble gases with a femtosecond terawatt laser is presented. We have used a gas puff target irradiated by focusing the output of a 20-fs, 3 TW Ti:Sapphire laser with a spherical mirror. Time integrated spectra from krypton, xenon, and argon targets are reported and discussed.
