CONSEQUENCES OF USING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN ECONOMIC HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE CONTEXT OF THE KNOWLEDGE-BASED ECONOMY

The paper aims to present several conclusions of a study which was a part of a research project of the Academy of Economic Studies Bucharest, concerning innovative teaching and learning methods and their impact in the learning activities of the students, in the context of the knowledge-based economy. The main focus of the analysis was the degree of access to IT by the students and the use of IT in the learning process.
