Innovation and change in education -economic growth goal in Romania in the context of knowledge-based economy

Known is that, currently, to achieve a competitive economy is to focus on three key factors: knowledge, innovation and entrepreneurship. In the context of the knowledge economy, education is the only way to develop entrepreneurship, increase competitiveness and welfare. After 1990, the educational system in Romania has undergone major changes due to the impact of various national education policy, European and international. So far, the emphasis is on the beneficiary of the educational process, which may choose between forms of education. The study aims to identify those existing innovations and changes in education in Romania having impact (direct and / or indirectly) on economic growth. The research focused on curricula of various educational institutions, modern forms of teaching and learning, modern learning means used, evaluation methods, new forms of relationships between participants in the educational process and the use of electronic means in education. Currently there are many educational institutions using modern means of learning and assessment provides training and specialized training, and in their curricula are subject which obviously have practical application, regardless of their profile. Many of these subjects, including current issues, promote capacity building of beneficiaries, their entrepreneurial skills, develop their creativity, increase stock relationship and strengthen the entrepreneurial traits of the beneficiaries of education.
