摘要
Effective treatment of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) in textile wastewater is of great significance to the protection of ecological environment. In order to improve the treatment effect of PVA in textile wastewater, the physical and chemical processes were studied to obtain the best treatment results. When using Fenton method to oxidize polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) in chemical method, the orthogonal experiment was used to determine the results of PVA treatment. The optimal treatment time was 40 minutes and the reaction temperature was 35 degrees C. The removal rate of CODcr and BOD < CODcr reached the maximum value, 63.9% and 0.579 respectively. When using salting-out methods to treat PVA, the concentration of sodium sulfate, borax and pH value were changed to treat PVA junction. The results are as follows: when the dosage of sodium sulfate is 14.00 g/L and borax is 1.40 g/L, the recovery rate of PVA is the highest. The removal rate of CODcr is about 80.25% in the range of pH value from 8.5 to 9.5. Infrared spectrum analysis shows that salting-out method improves the degree of polymerization of PVA. According to the results of physical and chemical research, when the treatment time and reaction temperature are 40 min and 35 degrees C respectively, 14.00 g/L sodium sulfate and 1.40 g/L borax are put into alkaline environment, which can ensure the highest COD removal rate of polyvinyl alcohol from textile wastewater and achieve the best ecological environment protection effect.
