Studies on Construction of High-Speed Railway Promoting Harmonious Development of Regional Economy

摘要
On the back ground of global financial crisis and economic recession, high-speed railway construction projects are becoming the engine and booster to promote Chinese economy sustainable growth. As China enters the era of harmonious development of regional economy, each economic area strengthens their division of labor and cooperation. Construction of high-speed railway can improve regional resource integration, optimizing industrial structure and realize regional economic integration. Taking Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Dedicated Passenger Railway Line and Wuhan-Guangzhou Passenger Special Line as cases,this paper researches on such comprehensive effect as city effect, catfish effect and pulling effect,and emphatically analyzes the internal mechanism of these effects how to promote harmonious development of regional economy. The improvement of regional traffic condition can strengthen aggregation effect of regional economy, enhance benefits on economies of scale, consolidate the existing contact among sub system of regional economy,and spur regional leading industry scatter forward and backward. Conversely, raising the level of regional economy can urge the development of high-speed railway transportation, thus result in high-speed railway transportation demand going up. Thereby multiple loop of positive feedback comes into being with the interaction between construction of high-speed railway and regional economy.
