摘要
The influence of Debye potentials on the quadrupole oscillator strengths of helium atom is investigated using highly correlated wave functions within a framework of a variational method. The quadrupole oscillator strengths for the S-1,S-3-D-1,D-3, P-1,P-3-P-1,P-3 and D-1,D-3-D-1,D-3 transitions of He for various screening parameters are reported for the first time in the literature. In free atomic case, our calculated results are in good agreement with the available results.
