摘要
The selection of a new power generation alternative must be based not only on scientific-technical progress but it must also take account of manifold external socioeconomic, climatic, and other factors in the region of the site chosen for the power plant. The presence of energy resources, scattered consumers, maximally justified power transmission distances, severe climatic conditions, and transportation possibilities affect the choice of power facilities and impose restrictions on their technico-economic performance parameters. A single technology cannot be the solution for all energy problems of regions which are not part of the unified energy system of the country. Work on finding and validating the optimal energy alternative taking account of the restrictions on and specific characteristics of the development of the territory under consideration must be performed for each specific site, power system, and region. A comparative economic analysis of three energy alternatives is presented for the Ust-Yanskii district of Yakutiya.
