Inter-satellite Optical Wireless Communication System Design using Diversity Technique with Filter and Amplifier

摘要
Optical wireless communication is used for high data rate communication for next generation mobile satellite communication. For provide high speed communication, it requires that properly aligned and LOS communication between satellites. The inter-satellite communication is affected by pointing error. In this paper, we designed a high speed communication system for inter-satellite using space and polarization diversity using filter and amplifier. Here considered link distance is 7000 km and by simulation we analyze achievable bit rate 40Gbps. The Q factor, eye opening and BER has improved from previously proposed system. This proposed system can be used for higher data rate in communication between satellites.
