Factors of motivation and transfer of training: a sequential study in the context of a leadership training

摘要
This study analyzes the role of training motivation and features of the organizational environment in the work application of learning and behaviors acquired during training. Based on a three time longitudinal survey (at the entry, at the end and two months after the training), this study was carried on a sample of 50 managers from a chemical company attending a leadership training. Results of the regression analysis confirm the crucial role of self-efficacy and training motivation in the learning transfer. Supervisor's support as well as climate of continuous learning are, in less extent, two other factors influencing the learning transfer.
