Reliability Assessment of High Microgravity Science Experiment System Based on Probabilistic Risk Assessment

Aiming at requirements of quantitative risk assessment of space utilization payloads in China's space station program, a reliability assessment approach based on probabilistic risk assessment is proposed for the high microgravity science experiment system of a payload, and a closed-loop event chain model facing task processes is given according to the process of high microgravity scientific experiment. On this basis, quantification of probabilities of end states, uncertainty analysis based on Monte Carlo simulation and importance ranking are implemented with the reliability data of basic events by simulation in Matlab. Besides the weakness of system design is recognized, which can effectively support the design improvement. The probabilistic risk assessment results verify the feasibility of probabilistic risk assessment model and data analysis methods of science experiment system, and it will provide a reference for the subsequent study of quantitative risk assessment of space utilization payloads.
