An Adapted Evaluation Method for Rural SMEs Oriented e-Learning Services/Projects

Information MRI Communication Technologies (ICT) are becoming more widely used and are benefiting more people, making public services better, more cost effective, and more accessible. However, the SMEs in rural areas do not reap their benefits in full or are effectively cut off from them. The Rural-eGov project aims to bridge an existing gap in national and European training-systems and practices. Advanced online services are constantly being developed around Europe. SMEs have to become aware of such services. and to get trained on how they can take advantage of them. Moreover, it will propose innovative training scenarios and content so that professionals of rural areas can get familiarized with e-government services, understand how they can benefit from using them in their business practices. The goal of this paper is to present an adapted evaluation method for rural SME's oriented e-learning services/projects, based on the experience of Rural-eGov Project.
