Sliding mode control of a large-scale wind turbine by considering partial loads

摘要
During the maximum power point tracking stage of the wind turbine, we not only need to design the controller to ensure that as much wind energy as possible is extracted. During this process, it is also necessary to reduce the influence of mechanical load on the wind turbine. However, most articles ignored the effect of mechanical loads on wind turbines in order to pursue greater wind energy efficiency. Therefore, the balance between the extraction efficiency of wind energy and the reduction of load is a key issue. In this paper, we design a new type of large-scale wind turbine sliding-mode controller based on the load, which ensures that tinder the premise of power tracking, the mechanical load is greatly reduced. Then, in FAST, we compare the advantages of the modified method with other existing methods.
