摘要
The phase composition and electrical conductivity of HfO2-Y2O3 materials were studied in the composition range 2.5-7.0 mol % Y2O3 Ceramic samples were found to contain, along with tetragonal and cubic phases, monoclinic HfO2, whose concentration decreases with increasing firing temperature. As the content of the monoclinic phase increases, the ionic transference number tends to decrease. The Arrhenius plots of conductivity show kinks in the range 750-850 degrees C, which are likely due to the monoclinic-tetragonal phase transition.
