Hong Kong Cyber Campus - An internet Campus linking universities, schools, and the public in Hong kong

This paper describes the building of the "Hong Kong Cyber Campus", a large-scale virtual Campus linking up universities, secondary and high schools, and the public in Hong Kong. Hong Kong Cyber Campus now connects over 400 secondary and primary schools to the Internet, and provides centralized network resources, services, and technical support. Hong Kong Cyber Campus web-site (http://www.hkcampus.net/) consists of several zones: School Zone, Information Zone, Education Zone, Discussion Zone, Creative Zone, Services Zone, and Technology Zone. These zones facilitate interactions between schools and universities, students and teachers, and foster the development and sharing of educational content.
