摘要
The establishment of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) has encouraged a reorganization of the university system: in the learning process, the emphasis has shifted from the teacher to the learner. This entails developing new teaching methodologies and educational structures oriented towards problems solving, encourage participation, activity, independence, creativity and working in a team. Thus, students must be the protagonists of the teaching-learning process and not just passive receivers of the information selected by the lecturer. To put into practice these ideas, during the last academic year we have introduced methodological experiences such as cooperative learning, problem based learning, and also participative lecture. We have also compared the scores and the participation of students during this academic year with the previous ones. Finally, we wished to know what was the preferred methodology and their opinion for learning. The results indicate that students increase academic scores when they actively participate, that they appreciate the introduction of active methodologies, but that surprisingly they prefer the participative lecture.
