The Large Hadron Collider experiments will be able to perform precision electroweak studies in new kinematic regions, due to the high collision energy and the huge cross sections for many Standard Model processes. This article describes how the two multipurpose detectors ATLAS and CMS will allow a significant improvement of the precision on several Standard Model parameters. The selected items include the determination of parton distribution functions, tests of QCD, the determination of the W mass, studies of the Drell-Yan lepton pairs production and of di-boson production.
