An empirical model of the magnetic field at distances of 3 to 40 Earth's radii, depending on the tilt angle of the Earth's dipole, Dst and Kp indices, solar-wind dynamic pressure, and vertical component of the interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) is presented. The magnetic fields are generated by a set of sources, whose position and strength are determined by fitting the magnetic fields observed in experiments. This model is compared with other models.
