摘要
Terahertz (THz) technology has appealed a remarkable research interest. High-performance antennas are critical components in THz systems. This paper reviews the current state of the art of THz antennas. To illustrate the practical designs of THz antenna, a novel design of square cross section segmented helical antenna (SHA) with switchable polarization sense is presented. The proposed antenna is suitable to be fabricated using additive manufacturing (AM) technology. The performances of SHA are studied and validated through simulations.
