摘要
The theme of preservation of the environment has had a particularly strong repercussion when it comes to its usefulness to society. This article presents the types of ecosystem services in the green areas of the municipality of Natal, specifically performed by the Natal Dunes Park and the Dom Nivaldo Monte Municipal Natural Park, identifying each type of ecosystem service offered in the area and highlighting the relevance to the citizens. The qualitative methodology is based on the review of scientific literature, field work and interpretation of the data collected. The results show that the two parks studied offer several types of ecosystem services that are configured as benefits for residents and visitors. It is concluded that such benefits should be disseminated in various ways and incorporated into school practices
